Our church’s name is drawn from the biblical figure Boaz, a significant character in the book of Ruth. Renowned for his integrity, generosity, and protective nature, Boaz exemplifies the qualities of a “kinsman-redeemer” who acted with justice, mercy, and responsibility. In his reflection, we see the character of Christ: strength merged with kindness and authority accompanied by compassion. The Hebrew meaning of Boaz, “in him is strength”, encapsulates our core vision.
